When the Receiver is powered and a Remote stays completely dark after being placed in the dock, follow these steps.
- Re-seat the Remote
Take the Remote out of the dock, wait a few seconds, then place it back in. Let the magnets guide it rather than forcing it down. - Check the pin connectors
Inspect the 6 gold contacts on the bottom of the Remote and the 6 pins inside the Receiver dock.- On the Remote: a missing contact will appear as a small black hole instead of a gold pin.
- On the Receiver dock: a stuck pin will not protrude like the others, preventing proper contact.
- If you spot a missing or stuck pin, get in touch with the team using the button below and include a clear photo of the affected area.
- Reset the Remote from Phase Manager
If the Remote is detected in Phase Manager, go to Advanced Settings and reset it from there. - Reinstall the firmware on the Remote
In the Update Center, right-click the affected Remote and select "Update Remote". After the update, let it charge for 2 hours before taking it out.
If the Remote is still dark: battery drain reset
This procedure forces the Remote to fully discharge, which can resolve a deep power issue.
- Place the Remote in the powered Receiver dock.
- Take the Remote out of the dock, then unplug the Receiver from its power source.
- Leave the Remote outside the dock for at least 24 hours to let the battery fully drain, even if the LED does not light up during this time.
- Place the Remote back in the dock.
- Plug the Receiver back in and power it on. The Remote should now light up and start charging.
- Once charged, update to the latest firmware to prevent the issue from recurring.

If the Remote remains dark after the battery drain reset, get in touch with the team and include a short video showing the Remote not lighting up in the powered Receiver.
