The Remote connects to the Receiver through 6 gold contacts on the bottom of the Remote and 6 pins inside the Receiver dock. A defective pin on either side may cause the Remote not to charge or not to be detected.
On the Remote
Inspect the 6 gold contacts on the bottom of the Remote. A missing contact will appear as a small black hole instead of a gold pin.
If you spot a missing contact, get in touch with the team using the button below and include a clear photo of the affected area.
On the Receiver dock
Inspect the 6 pins inside the Receiver dock. A stuck pin will not protrude like the others, preventing proper contact with the Remote.
- Try to gently release the stuck pin by pushing around it with a thin tool or pulling it very gently with tweezers.
- If all pins look intact but the issue persists, clean them with a soft lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher). Let them dry completely before docking the Remote again.
- If neither step resolves the issue, get in touch with the team and include a clear photo of the affected pins.
